The track begins with a full statement Jack's theme from the beginning of "Jack Sparrow", followed by Barbossa's theme from the first film (heard best at the end of "Underwater March") played on the Spanish guitar. This is followed by a powerful statement of Anglica's two note motif from "Angelica". Blackbeard's diminished fifth interval is then heard repeatedly, accompanied by the two note minor motif for the mermaids. There is later the addition of Angelica's theme. When that phrase has finished, Jack's theme is heard again, light hearted at first, but becoming darker at the finish. This is followed up by a short version of Blackbeard's theme on high strings. The track ends with another statement of the diminished fifth.
- This track is also known as "The Cliff" from the alternative track listing.
