William "Bootstrap Bill" Turner's knife

This weapon was a small knife or dagger owned and used by William "Bootstrap Bill" Turner during his carreer as a pirate.

Shortly before his son, William Turner, escaped the Flying Dutchman, "Bootstrap" gave the knife to him. Will promised to use it to stab the heart of Davy Jones and free his father from servitude. During the battle of Calypso's maelstrom, Will was forced to fight "Bootstrap" who in his madness didn't recognize Will. Defeating his father, Will used the knife to hold his father down while he saved Elizabeth. When Will was fatally stabbed by Jones, "Bootstrap" looked to his left and saw his knife. Instantly, he recognized it, and Will, and broke free of the knife's hold to attack Jones. After Jones was killed by Jack Sparrow's sword, "Bootstrap" took up his knife again, and with the rest of the crew near him, used the blade to carve out his son's heart as he died, thus resurrecting him as the new captain of the Flying Dutchman.
