This man was a Frenchman who sailed in the Caribbean during the first half of the 18th century. He was a captain of a powerful frigate. He fought against the Spanish under the command of Pierre le Porc during the War of Garcia and Pierre. At some point during the war, he attacked the Prowler, a Spanish privateer galleon. However, the two Spanish sloop suddenly appeared, and his frigate was eventually destroyed. After the battle, the Captain and his men escaped on a nearby island.
