Pirates were known to be experts in thievery. The term "thick as thieves" was widely used, most notably by Jack Sparrow. Will Turner was widely known thief, with having stolen the key to the Dead Man's Chest from Davy Jones[1] and attempted to steal the navigational charts from Sao Feng[2]
