Funny thing, a 28-gunner, should technically NOT be considered a frigate. If you look at this article, you can see that she should technically be referred to as a 'post-ship'. The term comes from the captain's rank: Post Captain. Would anybody consider putting "Post Ship" in the infobox? -- Smeagol630 (talk) 03:22, January 13, 2014 (UTC)
- Not really. According to this bit from one of The Price of Freedom excerpts:
- Jack Sparrow is the 25 year old First Mate aboard the East India Trading Company merchant vessel Fair Wind when a vessel from his past, the pirate frigate, Venganza, captained by the infamous “Lady Pirate” makes Jack’s ship her quarry.
- Don't know if "post-ship" was ever used in POTC media (probably not), but Venganza is a frigate according to the book. --
