Dog's nameEdit

Do we have confirmation this dog's name was Poochie? The term itself is just a nickname for any dog, derived from "Pooch", and shouldn't be considered this dog's actual name unless confirmed by an official source. I've only seen it officially referred to as "Prison Dog", which we should be using - Kwenn 19:53, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

You are right That's only what Pintel Calls it the real owner probley called it some thing else Poochie is what older people like Grandparents call Dogs it's like calling a dog mut or puppy it's just a name we call dogs that we don't know there real name.-Jack the Monkey yo ho ho

I think we should call the article "Poochie" and put a nickname template on it. - Captain J. Sparrow

The dog also makes an apperance on Pirates Online. It is on Rambleshack and Outcast Islae. Should we add this? The Sailor 12:26, May 28, 2011 (UTC)

I would say put it in the "Behind the scenes" part, since it seems more appropriate to put there. --J Fan SigBlack Pearl, HMS Interceptor, Queen Anne's Revenge 20:49, May 28, 2011 (UTC)

A few months ago, we received intelligence that a dog named "Twister" played the Prison Dog in CotBP...apparently it is incorrect. Firstly, the original and only source is now a broken link AND it was confirmed in this video that Chopper portrayed the dog in the first 3 films. --J Fan SigBlack Pearl, HMS Interceptor, Queen Anne's Revenge 05:10, June 5, 2011 (UTC)

Ok...apparently a year and 3 months later, I stand corrected. He does exist as "Twister" was said having a "well-deserved retirement" on the production notes of Dead Man's Chest. --J Fan SigOn Stranger Tides, Arkham City 04:28, September 17, 2012 (UTC)
