"Captain Jack Sparrow? Owes me four doubloons. Heard he was dead."
―Weathered sailor to William Turner[src]

This man was a sailor that encountered William Turner during his search for Captain Jack Sparrow following Lord Cutler Beckett's arrival in Port Royal. This man alleged that Jack Sparrow owed him four doubloons but also admitted to hearing a rumor of Sparrow being deceased. He was an old man, with blue-green eyes and long grey hair.

Biography Edit

The sailor had dealings with Captain Jack Sparrow, and ended up being owed four doubloons. The man owned a small fishing boat, and was in charge of a small crew. The weathered sailor resided in Port Royal at some point in life around 1729.

At some point, he was approached by Will Turner on the location of Captain Jack Sparrow. The sailor remarked that the notorious pirate still owed him four doubloons, but also informed Turner of a rumor he had heard that Sparrow was in fact dead.
