The Retribution was a 24 gunned corvette used by Jack Sparrow a year or two after Hector Barbossa's mutiny.

History Edit

Jack managed to obtain this vessel at the shipyards of Crooked Cove after sneaking through a pirate outpost. This ship replaced Jack's old ship, the Timothy, which he scuttled shortly after acquiring the Retribution. Eventually, the Retribution was traded in for a larger galleon called the Mourning Star. It is assumed that the corvette was returned to the governor of Port Royal since he was the one who gave Jack the Mourning Star.^{[citation needed]}
