Pirates of the Caribbean is an upcoming monthly comic book published by Joe Books Ltd. It is intended to release its first issue in August 2016.The number of issues has yet to be announced.Chris Schweizer and Joe Flood are the primary creative team.

Synopsis

According to the synopsis of the first issue, the story took place between the events of The Curse of the Black Pearl and Dead Man's Chest.

According to Tech Times, as the series progresses cover multiple events occurring in between the movies and stop just before the premiere of Dead Men Tell No Tales.

• Although at present these are only rumors, it is said that the comic could reveal the fate of Anamaria and also introduce characters of Dead Men Tell No Tales and extend the story of characters from On Stranger Tides.
