Peapod canoe

A peapod canoe was a small, flat-bottomed boat used to navigate the narrow backwaters of Singapore. A wooden pole was used to steer the canoe.
Elizabeth Swann travelled to a rendezvous with Tai Huang and Hector Barbossa in a peapod boat, remaining undetected by soldiers of the East India Trading Company.
