  • Excuse me, I am new to this wikia and I wanted to ask if it was alright to add information to Jack Sparrow's page with information from the new movie. I ask because I don't want to violate rules with spoilers but if its not okay I won't persist on the issue.

  • Unfortunately, that statement is true. Take a look at this discussion.

    • A few years, I can understand, but fifteen? That seems odd to say. But then I missed most of the action being a tad late to the party.

    • We live in a world where Captain America is the supreme leader of Hydra. Nothing should surprise us anymore. BTW, my laptop is having some technical difficulties which limits my use of it to 30 minutes every three or four hours. Our user Irina Kabanova, alias Captain Bool-Bool has a lot of official DMTNT material (screenshots, concept art, posters) on her website. So if you want to upload them here, you know where they are.

  • Ahoy! I was rewatching a bit of OST and was wondering what the significance of the trident engraved on Sparrow' chest was. Has your source elaborated on that at all?

    • I don't trust Rotten Tomatoes. Actually, I don't trust any online reviewers. Today I saw one who was complanining that Brenton Thwaites is too old to play Orlando Bloom's son. Well, if he actually followed the story, he would know that Bloom is playing a guy who is immortal and can't age, so it shouldn't be so surprising if Will doesn't look so much older than Henry. Unfortunately, this shows that some reviewers don't pay much attention to the story, and we shouldn't pay much attention to their reviews.

  • I created a user page on Community Central that uses a format similar to your user page and acknowledged it.  See, maybe I'm not so bad.  It's possible I have some redeeming qualities, right?

    • I know about that, but I figured it can't hurt to say this.  I've got to do something to prove that I'm not just a vandal after the dreadful deed I committed on Disney Wiki.  I need someone to clear my name.  I've made multiple attempts to beseech that never got responded to, and thus can only feel a pressing threat of getting banned looming over my head.   I feel I can no longer edit articles or mark anything for deletion because it may all turn out to only be more vandalism.  All I can do is moan about it wherever I can.

  • Is it possible that bad things might happen to Jack in the fifth film because his voodoo doll is now under Angelica's possession?

  • I live in the same suburb as Geoffrey Rush here in Melbourne, Australia. I bump into him in the shops occasionally, but I never say hi as I don't want to bother him haha.

Just thought I'd brag, have a splendid day!

  • Hello there matey! It's been a long time, really impressed you've stuck around! I don't really use Wikia much anymore, but oh my goodness am I excited for May 26! (not as much as you though, obviously)

Anyhow - I just wanted to ask question. Being a massive Beatles fan (travelling to Tokyo next month from Aus to see him live!), I'm super excited to see Paul McCartney in DMTNT! Are you aware of any information that suggests the details of his part in the movie?

    • It's been a long time, really impressed you've stuck around!

It has indeed. Thanks you for the kind words, even though I'll be taking a 2-3 month break soon. Still, I'm glad I was able to fix up the Wiki's main page and such beforehand, and of course discussing the new trailer with my fellow pirates.

Now for your question. Sad to say, I have no indication on McCartney's role in DMTNT, only that he will be in the film. I believe I've only gone as far as speculating that he might portray a pirate ala Keith Richards' Captain Teague character. If there are any internet-wide rumors suggesting what his role really is, it'll be news to me.

    • If I may be so bold as to interject my professional opinion. I have analyzed this scene a little bit, and I have some ideas about it. It looks to me like the young Jack is taking his famous compass from the dead pirate before him. So this is what I think: the dead guy is Paul McCartney's character, the original captain of that pirate ship, and he was also one of the previous owners of the compass.

  • Hey, mate. Thanks to Howling Sister, we have some new info that only someone like your "confidential source" can confirm or deny.

    1. This is the info found by Howling Sister, Salazar's full name.
    2. According to IMDB, Alexander Scheer is playing the "Young Captain Teague"
    3. Some websites claim Anthony De La Torre will play the young Jack Sparrow.

We need to know if any of that is true or not. Could you talk to him?

    • Basically they want to reboot the whole franchise, I think

The "I think" part shows he doesn't have any solid proof for his claims. I mean, the guy's not important enough anymore to be officially credited. The film already has its stars and Bloom is not one of them. Will is now a secondary character, and the current situation can't exactly convince me that Bloom is involved with Pirates 6. Also, Pirates 6, or some reboot of the series, depends upon DMTNT's box office performance. Unless Disney makes a lot of money with DMTNT, there won't be any sequels or reboots.

    • Of course I'm not saying I want it to happen, I guess I'm pondering based on our little revelation on young Henry (Turner) being in the film. Like if Disney's making the "smart" decision post-P5. Just like the past "smart" decisions they made in the past, like cancelling Armada of the Damned and of course bringing back Turner after years of saying his story is done. Heck, even Depp implied P5 would be the last in his "end on a high note" quote.

I'm sure, if nothing else, P5 will make some amount of money. Whether it'll be another billion, I cannot say. Given there are some big movies coming out around the same time, not to mention these are different times now.
