Magic Kingdom

From PotC Wiki

"Walt Disney World is a tribute to the philosophy and life of Walter Elias Disney... and to the talents, the dedication, and the loyalty of the entire Disney organization that made Walt Disney's dream come true.

May Walt Disney World bring Joy and Inspiration and New Knowledge to all who come to this happy place... a Magic Kingdom where the young at heart of all ages can laugh and play and learn - together.
"
―Roy Disney

[edit] Description

The Magic Kingdom is mostly a copy of Disneyland. Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Mickey's Toontown and Main Street USA are all present. There are some attractions that are unique to one or the park, but most of the popular attractions are found at both parks.

New Orleans Square was replaced with Liberty Square. Originally imagined as an expansion of Main Street USA, the area is based on a town in colonial New England.

[edit] Pirates of the Caribbean and Related Attractions

Pirates of the Caribbean is located in Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom, since there is no New Orleans Square. The ride is slightly different from the original. After the ride, El Pirata y El Perico is the place to eat.

Besides actual attractions, there are related activities for the children to take part in. Kids can learn to be a pirate at Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial. Also, the park periodically hosts Disney's Pirate and Princess Party.
