Kursar was a pirate recruited into Captain Jack Sparrow's crew at Tortuga prior to the pursuit of Hector Barbossa and the Black Pearl.

HistoryEdit

In their attempt to save Elizabeth Swann, Jack Sparrow and Joshamee Gibbs recruited acrew, Kursar among them. Kursar served aboard the commandeered Interceptor and later accompanied the crew as they absconded from Isla de Muerta with the Pearl. Jack was rescued from Fort Charles and Kursar continued to serve him for the following year.^[1]

His fate is unknown, but it is possible that he was killed by the Pelegostos, as he did not accompany the crew as they made their escape from Pelegosto.^[2]
