John Estill Vickery, credited as John Vickery (born November 3, 1950) is an American actor. He portrayed the Auctioneer in the Pirates of the Caribbean short film Tales of the Code: Wedlocked.


Early life and CareerEdit

John Vickery attended the University of California at Davis and took a degree in mathematics there. After graduating, Vickery went to London to study acting. He portrayed Neroon and Mr. Welles in Babylon 5 and played Rusot in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. John Vickery started his career with Disney in the Broadway show The Lion King, where he played Scar.

Pirates of the CaribbeanEdit

After the filming of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End concluded, a Pirates of the Caribbean short film was to be made, titled Tales of the Code: Wedlocked. John Vickery was cast as the Auctioneer, a character from the original Disneyland ride, respectively.
