Holland, also called The Netherlands, was a country located on the western border of Germany. During the Age of Piracy, Holland was one of the world leaders in trade and possessed many colonies in the Caribbean Sea and other areas.

Fitzwilliam P. Dalton III was given a telescope made in Holland. The Timekeeper was also fabricated there.

In the 1730s, Dutch slave ships were allowed to make port in the pirate port of Libertalia, thanks to the deal of the Dutch slave traders with the corrupt Pirate Lord of the Atlantic Ocean, King Samuel.
