George II (10 November 1683 - 25 October 1760) was King of Great Britain and Ireland, Duke of Brunswick-Luneburg and Prince-Elector of the Holy Roman Empire from 11 June 1727 until his death.

Some time after the events of the Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, the King has assigned Captain Oliver Randolph Pynce-Jones III to exterminate all pirates in the Caribbean waters.

Shortly before Lord Cutler Beckett's journey to Port Royal, the King provided him with Letters of Marque to recruit Jack Sparrow as a privateer on behalf of England and the East India Trading Company.

After the capture of Davy Jones's heart by Beckett, the King made Beckett his represenatative, giving him great power and command over enormous Royal Navy fleet, necesarry to destroy all pirates on the world's oceans.
