"As the eldest son of the Earl of Dalton, I am precisely bound by the same sort of family rules you are. Perhaps more so. We came from England less than a month ago, when my father decided to expand his holdings into the New World."
Fitzwilliam P. Dalton III to Arabella Smith and Jack Sparrow[src]

Fitzwilliam P. Dalton II was the father of Fitzwilliam P. Dalton III. It was his idea to make his son spy on young Jack Sparrow. He had an avid interest in birds and taught his son how to send messages using a carrier pigeon. It was because of this ploy that Fitzwilliam P. Dalton III, the East India Trading Company and the British Royal Navy were able to track down Jack Sparrow and his pirate father, Captain Teague.

Behind the scenesEdit

  • It is possible Fitzwilliam P. Dalton II is related to Roger Dalton, a wealthy and affluent plantation owner in Africa.
