"They became the walking dead. You may well laugh, lad, but it's true! By day, they look like men, but the moonlight reveals their true nature. Living skeletons, they are! Neither bullet nor blade can kill them!"
Henry Peat to Nathaniel Hawk[src]

This crew was a group of cruel and ruthless bloodthirsty pirates that operated in the Caribbean during the early 1630s.

History[]

Led by a man named Barbossa and serving on the frigate Black Pearl, this unfortunate crew fell under a terrible curse after they found and spent the old gold coins of Aztec origin. For years they sailed as the living dead, terrorizing the Caribbean, sinking countless ships and raiding settlements until their ship was finally destroyed by the adventurer Nathaniel Hawk during the Battle of Khael Roa's bay. However, the crew survived the sinking of their vessel, and continued the search for the Aztec coins, eventually ending the curse.
