The Journal of the Ancient Seas was a book that held many secrets in between its barnacled covers. It was used by Davy Jones who used it before his alliance with the First Brethren Court, in which Jones had his vengeance on Calypso by helping the pirates bind her into the human form of Tia Dalma. It is unknown if the book was still in existence by the Fourth Brethren Court, when the goddess was freed from her human form.
