Following a drenching rainstorm that deluged the entire island of Kauai and shut down production for much of the day, the next dawn saw clear skies that allowed the company to shoot an all-important scene on Ke'e Beach with Johnny Depp and Kevin R. Even with all the technological advances that have been made over the past few decades, nothing could match the perfection of that magnificent Hawaiian landscape.
