Egregious was a term meaning exceptional, conspicuous, outstanding, most usually in a negative fashion; Outrageously bad. The term was used by Giselle, though pronounced it wrong, most notably during the Auctioneer's auction at Shipwreck Cove. Jack Sparrow would later tell her the correct pronunciation of the word.
