- "'Rapa Nui. Also known as Easter Island.' Well, that sounds cheerful! Much better than Quicksand Swamp Island or Horrible, Painful Death Island. Wonder if there will be bunnies and baskets. Oh! And eggs! How I do love a good egg."
- ―Jack Sparrow
Rapa Nui, also known as Easter Island, was an island off the western coast of South America. The island's most famous landmarks were the giant stone heads that are scattered across the island.
Jack Sparrow and his crew visited Easter Island on their quest for the Shadow Gold. Once there, the crew encountered a mysterious tribe that captured one of their crewmates. Through Jack's quick wit, he was able to rescue his crewmate, Marcella, even though he didn't want to but her cousin Jean Magliore insisted. He was able to even build a brief friendship with the tribe. The tribe's chief gave Jack a little charm in the shape of a miniature stone head as a parting gift.
