Hector Barbossa and Carina Smyth[src]

The Diary of Galileo Galilei was a diary that was given to Carina Smyth by her father, Hector Barbossa, which was said to hold the Map No Man Can Read that was set in the stars, and contained clues of where the Trident of Poseidon was located. As a red moon's light shines upon the diary's front cover, the phrase "To release the power of the sea, all must divide" was revealed. On the diary was also the missing piece of a red gem that would later be restored in order to open an underwater entrance leading to the Trident.
