Crimp was a pirate living during the time of Jack Sparrow's attempts to reclaim the Black Pearl from Hector Barbossa.

Sparrow recruited Crimp, along with several other pirates, in Tortuga, and proceeded to sail in the commandeered HMS Interceptor to Isla de Muerta. He survived the battle with Barbossa's undead crew, and continued to serve with Jack's crew for the next year, when Jack began his search for the key to the Dead Man's Chest. He was killed by the Pelegostos after Jack became their chief.
