"We are an unimaginative lot when it comes to naming things." The title of this article is conjectural. |
- "Now we're being followed by rocks. Never had that before."
- ―Jack Sparrow
An unusual type of crab resided in Davy Jones' Locker. When their legs and claws were held against their bodies, they appeared to be mere rocks. The outlines of their limbs completely disappeared leaving only a smooth surface. A large group of them, apparently under the command of Tia Dalma, was able to move the Black Pearl from its resting place in the white sands of the Locker to the ocean.
Behind the scenes[]
- "Perfect. What would my torment be without unusual crabs here to mock me."
- ―Jack Sparrow
- In the revision screenplay draft of At World's End, Captain Jack Sparrow was to not lick the first crab that he saw and was also set to said that the unusual crabs were at Davy Jones' Locker to mock about his torment.
- While it wasn't revealed in the At World's End video game, it was shown in the film and in the non-canonical LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game that the crabs were a part of Tia Dalma.
