Latin quod erat demonstrandum (which was to be demonstrated).[1] Captain Jack Sparrow abbreviated the quote, when he was reunited with his former crew in Davy Jones' Locker, while explaining to Will Turner that he wasn't here and was simply a hallucination.

Quarterdeck can refer either to the part of the upper deck abaft the mainmast (including the poop deck when there is one) which is usually reserved for ship's officers, guests, and passengers or to the area to which a gangway for officers and diplomatic guests to board the vessel leads or any entry point for personnel.
