|Behind the scenes|
His acting career began early when he appeared in Pirates of the Caribbean followed by a slew of heartwarming commercials. When Chopper wasn't on the big screen, he could be seen nosing around Pawnation.
Pirates of the CaribbeanEdit
During the back-to-back productions of the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels Dead Man's Chest and At World's End, Chopper played the Prison Dog, a beloved character both in the original Pirates of the Caribbean attraction and the first film The Curse of the Black Pearl. Twister, who portrayed the role in The Curse of the Black Pearl, was then enjoying a well-deserved retirement after years of film and television work. However, like many stars, Chopper needed time in the makeup trailer to correctly align the color of his coat with Twister's.
On May 19, 2011, Chopper was one of the special guest stars that made an appearance at the Pirates Marathon at El Capitan. It was during this event that one of his trainers Mark said that Chopper appeared in the first three films. However, this was likely a simple mistake, as Chopper appeared in only the second and third films.
