Brinescum was a seaman, probably a deckhand on the Flying Dutchman.

Aboard the Flying Dutchman, Brinescum was a witness to the Liar's Dice game against Will Turner, Davy Jones, and Bootstrap Bill Turner. He probably reverted back to his human form when Will Turner became captain.

[edit] Outward Appearance

Brinescum, along with the rest of the crew of the Flying Dutchman, has grown all sorts of aquatic life and plants during his servitude to Davy Jones. His eyes have bulged-out similiar to the eyes of a fish. Crab claws and feet seemed to have replaced his hair. Coral and seaweed has grown on his body,and his beard seems to have fused to his body.

• In Pirates of the Caribbean Online Brinescum can be found on Isla Tormenta, with others from Davy Jones' unstoppable crew. There he uses a Voodoo Doll as a weapon.
