Behind the scenesEdit
- This pirate is identified as "Billie How" in the Pirates of the Caribbean script as well as the book Pirates of the Caribbean: From the Magic Kingdom to the Movies.
- Billie How was also originally present in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Walt Disney World Resort, where he and the other pirates from Disneyland's Arsenal scene were celebrating in the town's treasure room in a scene replacing Disneyland's arsenal sequence, which included original Disneyland dialogue with the pirates that also identified him by name. He and all other animatronics in that scene were scrapped by the addition of Jack Sparrow in 2006.
- Billie How, leaning on a crank much like in Disneyland California, is also present in Disneyland Paris, where he is across from the trio of singing pirates in the scene preceding the burning village.
